One of my favourite hobbies? Scanning websites to see what’s new and just read about the product and its claims. I usually don’t even buy anything (not right away), I just like window shopping!
The first site I usually go to is the Cultbeauty website. They have just about anything and they have a really nice customer service! All pictures used for this section are from cultbeauty, not from me (I wish!). I added a link to each product.
Btw, as I am in Europe I seriously cannot access the Sephora website, which is a total bummer. So I’ll have to make do with other webshops.
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Florale
Huile Prodiqieuse is a long time cult beauty item, it’s an all purpose oil that has a nice sophisticated French scent to it. If you know what I mean. And they already have their original (with the nice smell) and a glittery one (which I do NOT recommend) they now added one with a floral scent. And I am super interested in how it smells! It is however rather expensive for a nice smelling oil, 100ml is about €33/€37,50.
FRESH Soy Face Cleanser
Even though the brand FRESH has been around for a while, it recently became available on the cultbeauty website. They added a ton of stuff, and I will show you another product later on in this blog post. But this Soy Face Cleanser stood out to me because I don’t think I’ve seen many Soy cleansers around and secondly because of its price. You can get a 50ml for about €13/$14 which is not cheap, but it is a nice try-out size! They also sell a bigger tube of 150 ml which is around €35/$38.
I haven’t seen a Benefit eye palette that I truly liked for a while, but this one speaks to me! The colours are gorgeous and easy to mix and match with each other while still getting several looks out of it! I think it perfectly matches my blue eyes and it can be used summer or winter! It retails for €35 / $37.50. Which is not cheap but not as expensive as a lot of other palettes out there!
BRIOGEO Be Gentle, Be Kind Banana + Coconut Nourishing Superfood
Years and years ago I used the banana shampoo from the body shop and I loved it, but they discontinued it at the time (I see now that they have it again, but my heart has moved on). So when I stumbled upon the BRIOGEO Be Gentle, Be Kind Banana + Coconut Nourishing Superfood shampoo and conditioner I was intrigued right away.
Not only is BRIOGEO an amazing brand that has quite the reputation, now they have a banana and coconut scented shampoo? That also you know takes care of your hair of course. Count me in. I would have bought these if I didn’t already have multiple bottles of hair products to go through!
Okay, so that was it for Cultbeauty’s What’s New. I genuinely want to try all these products, but as I am trying to limit the amount of stuff I buy in 2019 I probably won’t buy all of these. So this one is to you Santa. Just letting you know some of my wishes.
I will see you next time! Ps. You might also like this blog post I wrote on probably my favourite Clinique product ever.
